Found, foraged, casted and, cured art by Roza Money

I am a lifelong artist, deeply immersed in the realms of nostalgia and storytelling. Initially known for my photography, my artistic journey took a transformative turn in 2022 with the discovery of resin—a medium that has opened new avenues for my creativity.

Body of Work

My body of work, primarily characterized by photography, has now expanded to include resin art. This medium has enabled me to freeze precious moments in time, transforming them into both wearable art and unique home decor pieces. Each creation is a testament to the beauty of encapsulating memories.

Current Project

My latest venture, "Sweet Baby Lips," delves into the world of pop art. This collection of wall plaques features expressive lips, each set in its own captivating mini-universe. These pieces are more than just art; they are a celebration of modern women, adorned with intricate details, hidden secrets, and powerful manifestations.

Background and Philosophy

As a third-generation visual artist, my roots in film and concept photography have profoundly influenced my work. While resin casting may seem like a departure, it shares the same core goal: to eternally preserve beautiful moments. My philosophy embraces imperfection; pieces that don't turn out as expected are not discarded but are ingeniously recast, creating new art from what might have been waste.

Conclusion

In essence, my work is a continuous journey of capturing and celebrating moments, whether through the lens of a camera or within the layers of resin. It's a story that evolves with each piece, inviting viewers to find a part of themselves in my art.
